Ate and now we Are contentedly chewing. This is the best resting place. We should come here more often.

First day

On our way home...

Well, we are going home. Our own human arrived, so we can be done with these rentals and back in our groove. It was fun, but glad we are home.

Thanks for the snacks, and bone, and walks and chases and pets and breakfast, and all the fun...

Another Day

We had a great day for starting with the two humans that run around and leave. Not sure what is going on, but they seem to be on a mission. Then the one that doesn't mind getting stepped on is up and plays with us. Finn always goes crazy. Today he was saying Finn is a wiggle on four legs. He calls me dainty. I think that is okay.

The last two night Finn is sleeping in his kennel, and seems to be more  relaxed at night. He get's tucked in with his bone, and quiets down for the night. He is a happy dog...but then so am I!

Off To Bed

Today was tough so much going and coming, I am not sure how many are actually home now...but, we have NEW bones. Finn is liking staying in his kennel chewing on his, and I like mine just laying on the floor somewhere.

I am ready for another day....there is so much to do here! Eat, sleep, play, sleep, go outside and play, not some when I am called, or come when I am called and promised a treat. Repeat...: -)

Our Next Day, New Toys!

Finn and I got new toys yesterday. New BONES! Finn is ssssSSSOOOOoooo excited. He can not choose about which one to chew. We went for brief walk yesterday as it was raining...I hate it when my paws get wet.

It has been quiet as the people have a lot of coming and going. I wish they would just go lay down...do people ever have a down stay time?

Yesterday the one person that goes away the most, and then comes back, played with me and then Finn. He made Finn stay while he played with me and we tussled. That was great!!! Then he made me stay while he played with Finn. That was not so good. But then we all played together and that was fun. Oh this is the one that does not get upset when you step on him. Finn does a lot of that. Me, not so much.

PB Snack Time

This morning was slow, the ususal, the one person home stayed in that one room clicking things.

But now! It is PB time.

 (shhhhhh....I think we may go for a walk if we are good...!!!)

Two days and still fun with these people. A walk every day, and _always_ someone to pet you. They sure are busy in, out, in, out, they are worse than cats!

We had run running around yesterday running in the back yard, and then we went for a walk as well. Finn went for a run with one of the new people. Finn was saying how fast he ran, but later I heard the human saying he out ran Finn...that is not funny!!!

Missing our human, but these are a decent replacement until ours get back.

So it has been a long day. We got up and 4AM, but no one wanted to play. Finn and I played and played, but all anyone wanted to do was lay around....FINALLY....they got out of their bed;s...then two of the left, then another one left...we were really getting scared! We started out with six humans and within a matter of hours find us down to two. But they hung around.

We played on an off for the day and snoozed, then two of the humans came back but only one took us for a walk.

Then two left, and one came back, but not one of the two that left. He played with us for a while. We like him. He does not get mad when we step on him. Then he was fixing food and then two came back...So we are down one human net for the whole day. Not a bad trend. We have to see what happens tomorrow.

More Days Off...

So we are back at the other human's house...and waiting for our regular human to leave, so we can start having fun...

Some fodder for your lonely day. We are doing fine. We are heading out for the Redman's in a bit.  Hope your trip is going well...stay longer if you want...

The is after our morning out. We came back and ran around a bit. Then K and F decided it was to much effort to play with us...and decided to play with each other.

Our Day Today

Katie and Finn have been great. Aside form the occaisonal water war and things are great. Tracy was working in the basement. When she came up, there was dirt strewn across the floor from the plant in the family room.
Finn was
sitting with his head hangning low, and Katie would not look at Tracy.
She cleaned it up and neither would  approach T while she cleaned.

Well, Finn and I have been here for two days and things have not changed much. These humans still spoil us and play and play and play and chase and run and the walks are so many. It is fun.  Katie

Oh NO!

Uh Oh! Brian says he will be here soon. It is a sad day for K and F. They will be going back to the mundane existence. They will just appreciated us that much more next time.

What I do for a Finn

Yesterday was great. Finn and Katie were about them selves learning their environment. A bit stressful being in a new place, but we did what we can to acclimate them. We went for a walk, approx 1 mi. About half way through K was looking like she had enough. Playing, playing, not much tussling bt K and F. Off to bed w/o event.

Morning brought a new day. F was so excited to see everyone. Out for the morning constitutional. Andrew was off to SAT, so K & F were fed at 8:10 when I got home. Then, they started tussling. What a rip. They insisted in following me. Within seconds of me setting, they started a wresting match between my legs at my feet.

Now we are settled into our day, and lazing along.

Alissa and Amanda have been planning a camp out for over a month. Both were in tears when they had to leave to the campout. They wanted to stay with the dogs.

More this afternoon, if there is time.

Game On!

Well, it is finally here. Another special time with the Redmans. This time Finn will be with me and what a great time. I have those special places to show Finn where to smell. Hope that girl with the yellow hair still does belly rubs. The one with dark hair give head scratches that are to die for. More later.
